Nominación para 4S en THE NATIONALS 2016 – NAHB Grupo 4S es nominado nuevamente en THE NATIONALS. El premio más importante de marketing inmobiliario a nivel mundial. La nominación al Gold Award surge tras hacerse acreedor al Silver Award, lo que automáticamente lo convierte en finalista. Es el tercer año consecutivo en que 4S logra estar nominado al máximo galardón, siendo la única empresa de Latinoamérica en obtenerlo. El proyecto por el cual se logró la nominación fue MAUI Smartxy Living, un nuevo concepto de hogares verticales, la respuesta al estilo de vida moderno y vibrante en la ciudad Panamá. Con esta nominación se reafirma el dominio de Grupo 4S por Latinoamérica, donde ya consolida operaciones en El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Paraguay, Bolivia, Colombia, Argentina y Panamá. A New Golden Age of Architecture

Did you know that architecture is in a crisis? It’s a major crisis that has recently hit a high note in the media. Almost daily we are bombarded by news that architecture is imploding! Contemporary buildings are ugly! Architects have lost their relevance! Architectural education is broken! The apex was a recent episode in France where Frank Gehry raised his middle finger to the press and declared that “98% of everything built and designed today is pure shit.” I beg to differ slightly from Gehry. It’s this whole crisis that is pure shit. Architecture is on the verge of a golden age, but it feels like a catastrophe to the established critics and tastemakers whose power is being wrested away by the public — the people who actually use architecture. ULI Survey on Community 2015

America is a diverse nation and it’s story is ever evolving. How they feel and what they value about the communities they live in is changing too. With the second edition of ULI’s community survey, America in 2015, the Urban Land Institute takes the pulse of their country. ULI’s Building Healthy Places Initiative and Terwilliger Center for Housing conduct the survey to illuminate a core question for every American: what do they want in their communities? In partnership with Belden Russonello Strategists LLC, a nationally recognized survey and communications firm, ULI conducted a statistically representative survey of 1,201 adults living in the United States. America in 2015 describes a nation where generally high levels of overall satisfaction partially mask differences in preferences and perceptions depending on demographic cohort, economic standing, community characteristics, and racial/ethnic background.
